"I had two impressive dealings with Carpet Interiors that I would like to share. The first is with our new home flooring. We opted out of the builders recommended carpet company, and choose Carpet Interiors, since they had the best options of high quality hardwoods and carpet with realistic pricing. When Paul, owner of Carpet Interiors came to our house, the first thing he did was to redesign the builder recommended carpet layout to reduce wear and tear in a visibly high traffic area. After installation, a neighbor with the same floorplan shared that our layout not only looked better but He had to have the high traffic area cleaned twice in two years. We really dodged a bullet there! The second and huge bullet dodged was 14 years later. When most have already replaced their carpet, the only wear was a lot of buckling in four rooms. especially in the office. The buckling of the carpet was due to using an Oreck vacuum cleaner at a high setting, in some places it was horrifying. With 1,500 sq. ft. of carpet that would have to be replaced, the cost could easily be $5,ooo, ouch! My fingers were crossed when I contacted Paul to see If there was any hope of saving this carpet. Much to my surprise, he said that not only could he stretch out the carpet in the three rooms, but also the disaster in the office. Not only did Carpet Interiors go above and beyond my expectations, I saved over $4,500 and I have carpeting that looks like new." - Arnie & Pat Andrews
"Carpet Interiors was at my home on June 29th. The men removed the old carpeting on the stairs, upper hall and one upstairs bedroom. They were very efficient and the carpet looks great. However, I didn't like the way the edges of this carpet looked when tucked under at the edge of each stair. That was because the fairly thin carpet allowed the backing to show when tucked under. I had the crew stop work on the stair carpeting. I was told by Mike Potempa that the stairway carpeting could have the edges bound instead of tucked under- for an additional cost. I liked that idea, and so agreed to wait until the binding could be done, and pay the additional cost. On July 11th, the carpet with bound edges was installed. I really like the look of that much better. Again, the crew did a fine job. I called back a few days after that second installation with a request. A door hinge on a hall closet, should have been placed at the bottom of the door, not at the top. Dago ( I believe) came back and changed the hinges very quickly. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and service I received. Thank you." - Annette Plettau
